Philippe León Krischker is a finance, trade, and culture writer based between Vienna and Singapore. This journal exists as a place to publish the notes that don't fit the day job — slower thinking, heavier footnotes, and the occasional photograph from the frontlines of global trade.
Correspondence is welcome on all of it: corrections, counter-arguments, leads, and the occasional unsolicited brief. The address below routes directly to the desk. Press, partnerships, and speaking should also use the same form — there is no separate inbox for any of it.

ii.About the journal
Markets & Meridians is an editorial side-project, irregularly filed since 2023. It is not a research firm, a newsletter business, or a content site. Posts go up when there is something worth saying. There is no advertising, no paywall, no algorithm — only an RSS feed and the slow accumulation of a particular point of view.
The journal does not publish advice. Where charts appear they are illustrative, where claims appear they are referenced, and where opinions appear they are the editor's alone.
iii.Press & speaking
Selected pieces have been picked up by trade publications and the occasional working-paper series. For press, speaking, or commissioned briefs, use the form above with subject line [press] or [speaking]. The desk replies to most enquiries.
